The Results of 3rd Performance Assessment (PA) 2018-19 is published. PA has been conducted since 2015-16 to assess the Upazilas\' performance with pre-conditions and scoring indicators. Based on PAs, UGDP provides the development funds as Performance Based Allocation (PBA). The size of PBA is BDT 50 lac per Upazila and the Target Upazilas are expanded yearly from 100,200,300,400, upto 492 based on this PA result. তৃতীয় পর্যায়ের কর্মদক্ষতা মূল্যায়ণ (পিএ) ২০১৮-১৯ এর ফলাফল প্রকাশিত হয়েছে। পূবশর্ত এবং প্রাপ্ত স্কোরের ভিত্তিতে উপজেলাসমূহের কর্মদক্ষতার মূল্যায়ণ ২০১৫-১৬ সাল থেকে পরিচালিত হয়ে আসছে। উপজেলা পরিচালন ও উন্নয়ন প্রকল্প (ইউজিডিপি) কর্মদক্ষতা মূল্যায়ণের ভিত্তিতে উন্নয়ন তহবিল বরাদ্দ প্রদান করে থাকে। কর্মদক্ষতা ভিত্তিক বরাদ্দের পরিমান উপজেলা প্রতি ৫০ লক্ষ টাকা এবং কর্মদক্ষতা ফলাফলের ভিত্তিতে লক্ষিত উপজেলার সংখ্যা পর্যায়ক্রমিকভাবে ১০০, ২০০, ৩০০, ৪০০ হিসাবে বাড়িয়ে মোট ৪৯২ টি উপজেলা এই প্রকল্পের আওতাভ‚ক্ত হবে। প্রত্যেকটি উপজেলার কর্মদক্ষার মূল্যায়ণ প্রাপ্ত স্কোর সহ বিভিন্ন সূচকের ভিত্তিতে নির্ধারিত পিডিএফ ফাইলটি ডাউনলোড সেকশনে দেখা যেতে পারে।

Role of UGDP to support the local community || Education cannot stop || After the influx of displaced people from Myanmar, many of those used educational institutions in Ukhia upazila as their temporary shelters. Therefore, the school infrastructures were got damaged heavily. JICA believes that education cannot stop in any situation. Therefore, as part of its “Upazila Governance and Development project”, JICA has supported educational institutions in Ukhia Upazila with additional classrooms to 4 schools and madrasahs, low and high benches to 16 schools, science lab equipment to 5 schools, multimedia television to 20 schools, scout instruments to 14 schools and solar power system to 21 schools.
